SoCal Access and Video Awarded Security Systems Project for Central Cities Navigation Center

The Central Cities Navigation Center (CCNC) is a Tri-City collaborative effort between Fountain Valley, Garden Grove and Westminster.  CCNC a $7.5-million renovation project transforms a property built in 1964 at 13871 West St. in Garden Grove into a homeless shelter with 85 beds. 

SoCal Access and Video was awarded the contract to provide the security systems and structured cabling for the facility.  These include 46 video security cameras, fourteen access doors, a panic alarm system, WiFi and network infrastructure for staff and technology needs.  The cameras deployed are high resolution with digital zoom and two way audio.  The Front Desk of the facility serves as the monitoring point for command and control of all systems.

Campbell Wright, Owner of SoCal Access and Video worked closely with the pre-construction team with the city and architect to design the system and was ultimately awarded the project through the city of Garden Grove and Thomco Construction.  The project began in October of 2022.  The ribbon cutting and opening is slated for June of 2024.
